Sunday night a short but powerful storm went through the Spring Lake area. This is a house in Fruitport.

My driveway had lots of trees and limbs down and we had to get the chainsaws out to get out of the driveway.

Quite a mess.

Two days later we are still without power but we have a generator for some lights and microwave. No TV or Internet equals long nights. We are very thankful that we escaped the brunt of the storm with no real damage.

Why don't you do something you haven't done in about 10 years...go see a movie! When I didn't have cable/internet set up at my apartment I did a lot of reading in the park :)
